The Start of the Christmas season

Last night we went to the tree lighting in Littleton. It was really fun. They have all the lights off and the roads are closed and packed with people Santa comes down on a float from the court house. As he gets to the start of each block they light up the trees on that block. Then at the end of the street there is one big Christmas Tree. It was a really good time and I think will be something we will try and make a tradition. Mark got to spend a lot of time on Tim's shoulders and Lilly slept through pretty much the whole thing.

Lilly was not impressed with my attempt to get a family photo

This super fun train was set up at the mall. Mark was the only driver and had a great time on it. We had to carry him away.

Thanksgiving

We had a good Thanksgiving. Lisa and Betty came over. We had way too much food- of course. and then took a walk to the park.

Holding my hand

This is my favorite shirt- it is cute and thick and soft.

More posts

My dad keeps telling me I need to put up more photos of the kiddos- so I am going to try.

Our big news around here is that Mark is potty training. It is going really well- usually one accident a day in the late afternoon when we are all getting tired and Tim isn't home yet. He has had only two accidents at Jamie's house in the three weeks he has been diaper free.

Also he is napping a few days a week again- he hasn't regularly napped since the spring. This is great! It does push bedtime back- but Tim is home to help then :)

Potty training means that there are stairs in the bathroom so he can get up and wash his hands. He is very happy to have access to water.

Lilly is three months old already!

I realized that there are so few pics of Mark in the sling and considering that I carried or nursed him (or both) for about 90% of his first 10 months there should be more. So here is Lilly in the sling.

And here hanging out in the crib

Mark and Noah at the zoo

We are so lucky to have Noah and Jamie in our lives. Mark and Noah are like two little peas in a pod. Most weekend mornings he asks when he gets to go to Noah's house. One nice day last week we all went to the zoo in the afternoon. We had a great time.

busy busy

Our busy life includes lots and lots of trips to the Children's museum and the Science and Nature museum- also known as the Fire Engine museum and the dinosaur museum

Painting- of his own choice!! He isn't very into artss and crafts things so I was very happy that he requested we do some painting at the museum.
