Good Morning Nana

Pop Pop and Nana came for a visit- you can see how happy this kiddos are to see them.
You can also see Lilly's newest fascination- a baby stroller.  I don't think it is going to last long, she likes to sit in it herself when her babies are not using it.

Memorial day ish

Somewhere are around memorial day, perhaps memorial day itself but I don't remember, we took this walk with Lisa, Betty and Josie.  We are thankful to have BOB strollers that allow small stream crossings.      As an avid babywearer it seems like loving my stroller shouldn't be allowed, but there are times when a stroller is the best.  In the fall I got single BOB when we were in California (craig's list, of course, they are really expensive).  This spring I finally found a double.  Mark is getting old enough to walk long distances, but there are times when I would rather walk at my speed or when I don't want to keep him going toward my destination when a stroller is an excellent tool for all around happiness.

Happy Grandma, Happy Lilly

Somehow this is the only photo I took on our trip to Kettle Falls in May.  I think I took other photos on my parents camera, but this is the one I have.  At least it is a good one.
Our trip was to celebrate my parents 40th aniversary- congratulations and thank you Mom and Dad.

OK- back to blogging

OK I have a big back log of photos from our summer so far to get posted.  I am starting today.  I promise I am going to try really hard to keep going until I get through them :)

This is what a lot of meals look like around our house.  The kids do start at their own seats, but they like sitting with me better.  These are also the faces they make when we ask them to smile for the camera- very cute, but not so smiley.
At least their eyes are open in this one.

A few parting shots

A few things from our last day

We spent our last hour right here waiting to see an Atlas launch that got scrubbed for weather.  We did get to see a family of dolphins swim by very close.

Florida

We went to Florida to see the shuttle launch.  Tim and I were SO excited.  Well, the shuttle didn't go.  But on launch day we met up with Sheila's family and had a great time while waiting for the scrub announcement.

See- it was a great view.  I really wish we could have seen it.

Building a deck with Grandpa

Grandpa came to town to help build a deck at Lisa an Betty's house.  Mark has had a wonderful time working in the construction site.

Here he is being a post.

 And getting his tools together.
The flags were a huge hit.  Unfortunately they were not accurately marking the power line and we ran into it with the auger.  Fortunately no one was hurt and there was only a little smoke.
Josie was a big help too.
Lilly enjoyed moving all the flags to mark Grandpa's chair.  (this was long after the power line incident and not the cause of it)

Pig tails!

She is actually very happy about the hair do- she was very unhappy about me setting her down to take a photo of it.  I can't believe her hair is this long already.  She may even need a hair cut before she turns two.
