We went backpacking this weekend!

This is on our little hike to get water. Wouldn't you like to live in this field? When it's last owner died in the late 1800's it went for 700$

I sat on this downed tree and then Mark spent a long time trying to sit on it like I did :)

This is the sun coming up in the morning. Our two person backpacking tent was a little tight for the three of us, but we managed.
I don't know if you can see how happy Mark is in this photo- but he really is. We had to wait out a thunderstorm before we set off so we played in the car. It also started raining 10 minutes after we got back to the car on Sunday. But it didn't rain on us :)

We had a couple of great playdates this week. Mark is really enjoying hanging out with other kids. It is so cute to watch them play near each other. I don't know when cooperative play starts- but for now it is fun to see how happy they are together.

Grandparents visit

We had a great visit with Tim's folks. We made it up to Rocky Mountain National Park and got a few good shots of the elk. Here are a couple of photos.

Vacation!

I am very busy trying to get everything packed before the movers get here on Friday- but here are a couple of photos from our vacation. The wedding was beautiful. and Canyon taught Mark how to crawl and sign back- we brought home a whole different boy.
