6 Months old!!!!
Oh my, i can hardly believe my little babe is already 6 months old. at 6 months we get to start back carries- so here we are on a hike today with auntie lisa.

Mark can stand up, sit down and hang out
We were doing a little moving around in out apartment and Mark was hanging out in his crib and decided to pull himself up on the rail!!

Our Friend Mike came for dinner while he was here for business. Mark liked playing with him- I think he is ready for his own :)

Here are Mark and Lisa out to lunch, the high chair was a little low, but mark had a good time anyway.

Is this our new house?
A house came on the market that met all my criteria so I took a drive to see it while Tim was at work. I took a few photos while I was there and showed them to Tim when he got home. Can you guess his reaction? It was "there aren't any house photos here". Oops- I just took pictures of the view. It didn't even cross my mind that I hadn't. Anyway, if we get it I will put up some photos. (we are officially not homeowners right now, the relo company owns our house for the next week until they sell it to the buyer- but we haven't gotten the check yet so it doesn't really feel real)
Almost caught up
Mark and his new friend we met a new years day party, sharing a toy and trying to hold hands!
The sign that I need to go back to work: I designed new diapers. There must be a million different AIO (all in one) or Pocket diapers out there, but there didn't seem to be the one I wanted. So I designed them. These are photos from the first prototype, I have made a few changes, but think I have a design I really like now. I also got the tension right on my machine so that the stitching looks good on versions 2 and 3. btw- mine are better than all the others :) They have all the ease of an AIO (keep baby skin dry layer, don't have to touch the soiled parts) and all the fast drying part of a pocket (because the soaker comes out on its own)

Can you see his teeth??
A few more posts and I will be caught up with all the stuff we did over break. Mark pushed out two teeth! they came out within 24 hours of each other and while he was a little fussier and had a little harder time sleeping than usual it wasn't too bad- hope the others will go as smoothly as these did.
We took a walk at my favorite park. there are actually houses that overlook this park and if we just had an extra million we would live here :)
Kodi (the dog) came to live with Lisa. Mark is very interested in him, but he is not very interested in Mark. This is probably good, Kodi will let Mark pet him a little and then he gets up and walks away.
How could you not love this park!!!
We are still amazed at the weather here, there are way more days that look like this (clear blue skies) than anything else.

Still playing catch up
Mark has finally started to grow hair- there isn't a lot but it is on it's way.
Just waking up from a little nap on mom
Playing patty-cake with Grandpa "toss it way up in the air"
pat, pat on his new toy that is filled with water
That's right- Mark is willing to be on his tummy now, not for a long time but if there is something interesting enough to play with and he isn't tired.

Mark opening a present
Mark picked our a present from his Nana and Pop-Pop and was so excited about it that we let him open it, even though it was a day before Christmas. I took a movie of him shaking it open, but it is too big to upload, but I uploaded a little movie of him deciding if he is going to play with the paper or the toy.

Food poisening
Sorry it's been so long
You would think with having Tim and Lisa and Mom and Dad here for the holidays that i would have had lots of time to post, but alas I didn't. So here are some catch-up photos.
Here is Mark opening a present- and we was doing such a good job we all laughed.....
...which scared him, so he cryed
of course the wrapping paper was the biggest hit
And the pots and pans in the kitchen. Oh, he is sitting up all the time by himself now, but on occasion he get excited and falls over backward, so we put the pillow behind him.
