I finished up my garden boxes today. All the fun of growing without the bending over and the rabits. You might think it is very late to be getting this done, but you must remember that it snowed twice this week. I got to use the miter saw to cute the boards, I love it.
Tim kept the kiddos occupied while I finished these up. And he did all the heavy lifting. It was a beautiful day.
Mark, as usual, was too busy for photos

Mother's Day
On Mother's Day we went for a lovely walk along a creek. The walk was about a half an hour each way and Mark walked the whole thing! In the middle we stopped and played by the creek. I tried to take photos of the kids, but none of them really came out- here are the best ones.
Lilly trying to eat EVERYTHING!
Mothers day was also the last day that Tim owned his car. Here is one last photo of it. It was a good car, we put lots of miles on it. The new car will be a post soon.

Closets and Cabinets
I knit this sweater!!! It is my first non-dishcloth knitting project. There are some mistakes, but I think it is very cute. I made the 18-24 month pattern guessing it would take a long time to finish. It didn't really come out in the photos, but there is some detailing on it.
Lilly discovered the plastic drawer at Cathy's house during play group today. She had a great time. I expected her to enjoy pulling everything out, but was surprised to turn around and find her in the cabinet.
Then we came home and she thought taking everything out was such a great game that she should try it in our closet.
And just in case you were concerned that we had forgotten all about our wonderful Mark- he was sitting on island talking to Lilly the whole time. And asking us to take him out in the snow- we got a few inches today maybe 4 and it wasn't even forecast to snow.

Just Lilly
Lisa, Lilly and I went to Melissa and Dan's wedding. We had a great weekend (actually 36 hours) in Portland. We got to hang out with my parents, Amanda, and my downriver family. Somehow I only took ONE photo the whole time. I think because we were so busy. So here it is- Lilly at her first wedding. She did awesome- slept well in the hotel, played on the airplane, and nursed through the ceremony.
The rest of these I just took today since we are just hanging out at home.
Lilly thinks she can walk- we keep reminding her that she just hit 8 months and she isn't strong enough yet.
She can crawl up on her knees now
Happy, playing baby :)

A nice weekend around our house
We made my garden boxes. Both kids helped.
Then we went to boulder and had a nice brunch and walk around. Both kids thought they should sit on my lap. Lilly is asleep in the carrier- Mark is trying to take all the sugar packets out and put them in the ground. We were bummed to find out that the great breakfast place we had found last time was closed- so we didn't get banana bread french toast. But, we had a great time hanging out in the sun.
Mark playing on that statues on the walking part of Pearl Street.
Lilly was really unhappy about the driving. We pulled over, nursed, got a new diaper, and played for a little while. It didn't really help, but we had nice break.
