Mark's Birthday trip to the children's museum

Grandma was here and took Mark to the Children's Museum on his birthday. They had a great time (I mostly sat and watched)

Grandma sorting- Mark peeking out the window
Fishing- Mark spent a long time in this area. (Pop-Pop is getting ready for you to take him for real fishing)

and the peaches Lisa and I canned last night.

Playing with Lisa and Betty

What a lucky boy.

Mark LOVES the fort Betty built for him.

Finally- some maternity photos

So we got photos taken last week and I got the files today.  I am so glad we used a photographer that gave us permission to the files so I can share them with you.  The photos aren't touched up yet- but I couldn't wait to share them.

Mark's Birthday Party

Gotta love a little boy who thinks that raw broccoli is a good birthday snack!
When I put this shirt on him he said "it's my grandpa shirt"
It finally warmed up enough for our planned water play outside.  The boys all thought this toy was best used as a water fountain.

This is a different shirt- as Mark ran back into the water after he was dressed again.  While I was walking the cake into the dinning room and we were all singing Happy Birthday Mark came out with  "I want cake!"  He blew hard at his candle- but didn't get close enough, but that's OK his friend was there to help him out :)

Two happy boys on one chair!

Mark got some new cars and a new Percy train.  He is a happy little boy.  He spent a while lining them up and pointing to them "red car, green car, yellow car, percry"  They were in his arms all day- the cars even got to take a bath with him before bed.

Going for a walk

He is so grown up now!
This is the closest this I have to a pregnancy photo right now.  We are getting some taken on Friday.  But you can see my belly is HUGE.
Throwing Rocks in the water with daddy- he could play this game all day.
Our big boy going swimming- another of our favorite activities.

Still cute.

Maybe I will just go with you!

Independent little guy

Mark has decided that he doesn't really need us around anymore.   And just goes and does what he wants.  Probably good- but it was easier to watch him when he wanted to be within a few feet of me.
He picked up this stick and said that it was time to go home and have burger cheese.
And he left- headed back to the car
The car was not that close- but he was ready and had decided that it was time to go.
When you are teething at Grandma and Grandpa's house you get to have popsicles with sugar and food coloring.  We couldn't find anything else is the local grocery store.  Luckily neither seemed to have a huge effect on him- although in retrospect maybe that was why sleep was so elusive on vacation.
Not so elusive for Tim.  Taking a nice afternoon nap on the porch.

Working and playing hard

Mark was a big help in building the deck at my folks house.  Here he is with his hammer.
Grandpa put a few nails in this board to let him pound on while we tried to get some work done.
Mark did ALOT of measuring.  Grandpa showed him a nail on the house to hold the tape measure on and he did.  Of course he then wanted to hold the tape measure there over and over all day- we had to get him his own to use.
Climbing in a tree at Bradbury.  Grandma helped him get up and then he said "momma, I'm so high".  He has been really into watching other kids climb up in trees too.  I think that he would be quite a climber (like is Auntie Lisa) if we lived a place that had more of them.
Throwing rocks on our walk.  He only wanted the really big ones to throw in.  The ones that were almost to big for him to lift.  I think we were all surprised about his ability to pick up some pretty heavy ones.

Faces of Tim

Tim needed a head shot of his face for work.  Here are a few of our attempts.
