We took the drive up to Brighton to pick strawberries at Berry Patch Farm. I hadn't been there before and found it to be a super cute touristy farm. I was hoping to buy some local honey while we were there, they had about a case set out when we walked through the barn on the way out to the fields, but it was all sold out when we got back.
They had hay rides out to the fields.
And the ride back. Mark was very excited to get to ride behind the tractor. But there was no hay on this one, so it isn't a hay ride, what would it be called? A trailer ride?
We didn't actually pick that much as it was hot and the berries were small and picked over (they said that the July/August crop is easier to pick). The kids, kind of willingly, posed in the cute rocking chair that Nana rested at while we picked. It was nice that they had the the porch lined with these nice chairs out of the sun.
